Our headquarters are in Bern, the easy-going and pleasant capital city of Switzerland. And here is where they will stay. But Cleverclip employees work all over the world, in places like Zurich, Berlin and Kuala Lumpur.
Why and how?
At Cleverclip, we have one objective: to make the world a little simpler. Everyone knows that people remember images better than text alone. So, we do our level best to explain complicated products or topics in a way that everyone understands. And because people love stories, we package the whole thing in an entertaining tale.
Our journey
Since spring 2013, Cleverclip has been explaining complex topics for our customers in a simple manner. We started out as a small start-up with just two employees. After doing well in the Swiss Startup Award contest in 2013, the Cleverclip train took off with a hiss and a roar. More and more customers came and asked us to help them tell their stories. A lot of the time, it was because they had similar values to ours and also believed that honest feedback from both sides is the key to success. In the meantime, our team has grown rapidly and we put our heart and soul into producing videos, presentations and other products for many different companies in Switzerland and abroad.

Founder & Ceo
Carlo founded Cleverclip GmbH. He is responsible for keeping all-out anarchy at bay. He also studied business administration, psychology and information technology at the University of Bern.
Visual Artist
Roya is our creative genius. She has transformed complex topics into appealing drawings at Cleverclip right from day one. Following a preparatory design course in Biel, she studied psychology and educational sciences at the University of Bern.
Consultant & Project manager
Mani studied banking and finance at the Zurich University of Applied Sciences. He is a project manager at Cleverclip. From time to time, you might catch him in completely different areas of the company (for example, in the Finance department).
Texter & Visual Artist
Michel studied German linguistics and Japanology at the University of Zurich. He is responsible for writing copy for Cleverclip. But Michel can draw as well (he has more than one string to his bow).
Business Development & Coach
Oli completed an MBA at the University of St. Gallen. He helps us with all the really crucial issues. Thanks to his long-standing experience in operations, he usually knows just what will work and what won't.
Consultant & Project Manager
Leander studied political science, sociology and philosophy, which are all subjects that don't necessarily amount to much out in the real world. Afterwards, he was involved in the German agency scene for many years as a creative director. Now he is with Cleverclip.
Motion Designer
Saimen studied illustration and animation at the renowned One Academy in Kuala Lumpur. As a motion designer, he is responsible for implementing Cleverclip's digital productions.
Cutter
Berni studied scientific illustration at the Zurich University of Applied Sciences. She doesn't draw bones, organs or teeth for us, but instead finalises the post-production for the Cleverclips. In addition to her work, she draws and designs children's books.
Consultant & Project manager
Rahel studied social and communications sciences at the University of Lucerne. She has been working at Cleverclip as a project manager since August 2015. With her superb organisational skills, she always knows who has to do what, where and when.
Visual Artist
Simon is a fully-fledged draughtsman: no wonder, since he is a trained graphic designer with a degree in illustrating fiction in his pocket. Drawing is his great passion and he can pursue this to his heart's content at Cleverclip as an illustrator and a designer.
Intern
After two semesters of studying architecture, Linda decided that a life alongside studying would be nice. So, she is now studying business administration. With a creative and dynamic personality, she is a perfect fit for the illustrious team under our project managers.
Cutter
Anine loves everything that is remotely connected with film. So, it's no surprise that she completed studies in film and media at the Queen Margaret University in Edinburgh. As a fan of the cinema, Anine found her way to Cleverclip.
